By bike through the Puster Valley
Bike tours are a particularly good way to actively explore the region. With 105 km of cycling tracks, the Puster Valley is not only great for professional cyclists. The Puster Valley and the surrounding villages are suitable for every different type of cyclist – from hobby to pro biker – even with e-bikes. The new cycle paths lead through the whole valley and are also suitable for families with children. With a mountain bike, you can even reach the highest spots with the best vantage points. There are now six signposted MTB courses in Valdaora and four freeride routes on Plan de Corones.
Bicycles can be hired for sightseeing tours from Hotel Scherer free of charge so you can set off on your adventure straight from the hotel. You can also take the train back to the hotel (passenger transport for free, bicycle for a fee). You are also welcome to take the shuttle bus service from our professional cycling partner rent and go, which will take you to the starting-point of your route without any bother or effort. Bicycles can be stored in our garage. We also have suitable tools for you to use for repairs.
