Plan de Corones
South Tyrol’s top ski mountain
In winter, Plan de Corones is a favourite destination for many skiers and snowboarders – the 32 modern lifts and 116 kilometres of slopes speak for themselves. As part of the Dolomiti Superski carousel, the lift facilities of the Plan de Corones can be used with the appropriate ski pass.
Hotel Scherer is located at the foot of Plan de Corones and only 1.5 km from the Valdaora valley station. Hop onto the ski bus right at the hotel and ten minutes later, you will be carving your way down the snow-white slopes. Slopes of varying difficulties provide long, pleasant downhill runs to the valley but have demanding sections too. In summer, Plan de Corones is transformed into a popular destination for families, hikers, bikers and those seeking peace and quiet.

The Kronplatz ski pass is valid for the Kronplatz ski area between Bruneck, Olang and S.Vigilio. This ski area features 31 lifts and 105 km of pistes.
The Dolomiti Superski ski pass provides access to 460 lifts and 1,220 km of pistes in the following ski areas:
Cortina d'Ampezzo, Kronplatz, Alta Badia, Gröden, Seiseralm, Fassatal, Karersee, Arabba, Marmolada, Hochpustertal, Fleimstal, Obereggen, San Martino di Castrozza-Rollepass, Eisacktal, Trevalli, Civetta.

Ski rental
Our partner "rent and go", Kurt Ladstätter, a former ski world cup professional, offers everything you need for skiing and snowboarding!
Every year 100% completely new ski equipment!!
The highly modern ski rental was extended in 2006. It is located directly at the Valdaora valley station, hence very comfortable. After skiing you can leave the rental equipment at the rental shop and you can pick it up again the next day. No more carrying heavy skis!!
The Hotel Scherer being a partner hotel, you will receive a 10% reduction on all rental equipment.
