Snowflakes quietly settle on the fields, the trees are covered in a dusting of snow and the winter spreads like a soft blanket across the entire valley. This is a wonderful spectacle to see and experience.
Valdaora has 12 designated and marked winter hiking trails for you. Experience the winter landscape without stress and hectic in the rhythm of your own steps.
The fast movements on the piste make way to soft, pleasant steps when snowshoe hiking. Stop for a bite to eat in the rustic huts along your route and experience the mountain scenery of the Puster Valley at close quarters.
Tobogganing means fun for the whole family. There are two toboggan runs in Valdaora: the panorama toboggan run is open every day and the 7-km long Brunst natural track.
Cross-country skiing means you can enjoy the winter landscape at a comfortable pace. There are 5 km of cross-country tracks in Valdaora itself and other cross-country skiing can be found in the surrounding villages.
In the wintertime fun in the snow is the order of the day!
